This is drawn from a photo. He actually made a pretty good looking woman, although I'm sure there are those who would wonder why I did the drawing in the first place. I liked the strength of his face emerging from the feathers.

Thanks for the compliment, Jurgen. To answer your question, I haven't worked up the nerve to paint anything. I'm still getting the hang of all of this after a few years doing strictly collage. Your words give me some hope, however, that I should keep pursuing the line of artistic inquiry and branch out into painting.
