I created a negative of "Mothers and Daughters," using my paint program. I REALLY like how it turned out. I printed it, too, which looks pretty cool. Posted by Hello

Hi! It is annie, from gluebooks. I like the way these turned out. I know what you mean about losing your edge. I worried that some of my collages were a little too edgy! I do like for them to come out having something that causes the reader to pause, and to think. I enjoy looking at your work.

Weird. As I am working up the page and posting comments, I just realized that this collage was supposed to be a positive thing. I didn't see the image of the daughter as what it was supposed to be; to me it looked like a dark, twisted female lurking in the background, haunting the smiling beauty in the foreground. Weird how our perceptions shape reality - especially in Art.
