War Paint

This one has grown on me. I hated it at first, but then I kept adding intense color with my Posca Paint Pens (love them, btw) and a cartridge pen I found at our local Co-op. 

Now she seems to capture some essential essence in me--something both peaceful and war-like. Her outer self is ready to do battle if necessary, but inside, there's something far more vulnerable and slightly sad.
